Eva Mendes finally did it!
The 45-year-old actress shocked fans on Friday (June 28) when she shared a rare video of her and her longtime love, Ryan Gosling, to Instagram. "Flashing back to one of my favorite scenes from A Place Beyond the Pines ❤️#fbf#DerekCianfrance#Shannonplumb, " she captioned the throwback video taken from the 2013 film, in which she starred alongside Ryan.
In the clip of the movie, Eva and Ryan's characters, Romina and Luke, pose for a photo together with their son. The video marks the first time the usually private Eva has shown Ryan on her Instagram.
As fans know, the couple fell in love after filming A Place Beyond the Pines, and have welcomed two daughters — Esmeralda, 4, and Amada Lee, 3 — in the years since.
While the two usually do not speak about their relationship, in 2017, Ryan gave a touching and truly unforgettable tribute to Eva while accepting the award for Best Actor at the Golden Globes.
"While I was singing and dancing and playing piano and having one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on a film, my lady was raising our daughter, pregnant with our second, and trying to help her brother fight his battle with cancer," he said, referencing his role in La La Land. "If she hadn’t have taken all that on so that I could have this experience, it would surely be someone else up here other than me today. So sweetheart, thank you."
