Harry Styles fans joke that the artist is "everywhere but the studio," as he is spotted in yet another "random" location across the globe.

According to Parade, the "As It Was" sensation was inside Saint Peter's Square at the Vatican in Rome, Italy, on Thursday (May 8), when Pope Leo XIV's two-day conclave concluded. Eagle-eyed fans noticed Styles in the crowd as the new Pope waved to everyone present to celebrate his election. Individuals assembled to greet Pope Leo XIV captured snaps of the "Matilda" hitmaker wearing a grey "techno is my boyfriend" hat with black sunglasses and a blue coat.

"Wearing a techno is my boyfriend cap at the conclave u cant make this up," one X user joked. Another remarked on how Pope Leo XIV unknowingly waving to Styles.

"Little did the pope know he was waving to Harry Styles."

While fans were surprised to see the "Sign of the Times" icon at the Vatican, the news did not come as a total shock as Styles has been seen biking around London, traveling through Berlin, and even ran the Tokyo Marathon in March, per Parade.

The "Watermelon Sugar" standout released his latest album, Harry's House, in 2022, following 2019's Fine Line. Aside from posting about the death of his dear friend and former One Direction bandmate Liam Payne last October, Styles keeps a very low profile on social media.

The star has yet to disclose whether he is working on a new album or planning to release another record in the near future.
