Ariana Grande is mourning the death of her grandmother, Marjorie (Nonna) Grande, who recently passed away at age 99.

The "Love Me Harder" hitmaker reposted a sentimental tribute, written by her mother, Joan Grande, on her Instagram Story on Tuesday (June 17).

The heartfelt homage read:

"We are devastated to share that the beloved matriarch of our family has passed away. Marjorie (Nonna) Grande passed peacefully in her home and was surrounded by her family and loved ones for every moment of her last few weeks. We thank you for your love, support and for respecting our privacy as we grieve and celebrate her beautiful, extraordinary life."

The Wicked star's brother, Frankie Grande, also honored Nonna with an emotional message, assuring he will keep her spirit alive in all that he does.

"You taught me how to love without conditions, how to dominate a three-card poker table, how to never ever take a bad picture, how to light up a dinner party just by being in the room, how to give the warmest, safest hugs, how to stand in my truth unapologetically, how to not give a single f*** about what anyone thinks, and most importantly, how to show up for family in a way so deep, so unwavering, that I promise you: I will carry that torch fiercely in your absence."

Nonna accompanied Ariana to several award shows over the years and even gave listeners relationship advice during the outro of Eternal Sunshine track "Ordinary Things," making her a featured artist on the star's latest album.

In November 2024, Ariana returned to her hometown and took Nonna to the theater to see Wicked. Watching her granddaughter light up the screen filled the 99-year-old with so much joy she couldn't help but smile from ear to ear!
