Drake is looking back at the time he spent in jail after he got arrested in Sweden.

On Tuesday, September 2, Bobbi Althoff made her grand return to YouTube with her new series Not This Again with Drake as her first guest. To make up for their disastrous first interview, Drake and Bobbi hop into a king-sized bed and catch up for over an hour. Midway through their conversation, Drake mentioned that he got arrested in Sweden, and Bobbi told him that the country would forgive him. That's when he took a good look back at the incident.

“I don’t know if they will,” he said. “I spent a pretty long time in jail... nine hours.”

Drake said he "got arrested for nothing" and explained how he ended up in a jail cell for nine hours. He said he hosted a private party in 2022, and one of the police officers' girlfriends attended the event. Following a confrontation, Drake was detained for nine hours and was released without incident. Drizzy's team originally denied details about his run-in with Swedish police, but the rapper eventually confirmed it himself after he posted footage of his arrest in 2023. He mentioned that he has a show coming up in Sweden as part of his Euro tour with PARTYNEXTDOOR, and joked that he expects the officers' "girl is coming back out for sure."

"We did a private party and one of the guys, the officer, his girl came to the private party," he explained. "But they arrested me way too aggressive and they arrested me for nothing.”

Elsewhere in the conversation, Drake also spoke about feeling "sensitive" about being called a culture vulture, described his future wife, and declared that he's not afraid of going back to Los Angeles following his beef with Kendrick Lamar. You can watch the entire episode below.
