Universal Studios Hollywood is celebrating 60 years of their Studio Tour and guests will be able to enjoy both new and old experiences.
When the tour first opened in 1964, the Glamor Trams were red and white and took guests around the lot for 2 hours to experience the behind the scenes magic. So to celebrate 60 years, Universal will be changing the Studio Tour trams back to red and white Glamor Trams and guests will be able to stop and grab photo ops mid-tour.
Some things guests will be able to experience are:
- an original, fully restored 1964 vintage Glamor Tram
- first-ever original replica of the Hollywood Sign
- theme park's original hanging Jaws shark
- King Kong themed photo backdrop
- original time machine picture car from Back to the Future on Courthouse Square
- dimensional Tyrannosaurus rex dinosaur display
- return of Earthquake - The Big One, which has been upgraded
